Umm...I like the 1st one, but I'd prefer something other than the green flames. Flames are way overdone in this game and usually attract the adolescent "these flames are kewl!" 12 year olds. If you are reaching for 12 year olds, then it is fine, but if your target is an older audience, stick to a more "classic" look.

dont go with the first one. it seem like every noob guild just HAS to have the sword with flames. i would go with the second to be a little original

First one looks better IMHO - however, if you think a cape is going to help you get new members, remember that the fashion conscious amongst the players will have different coloured outfits and will try and colour-coordinate their outfits with the capes (to make a long story short, you can't please everybody).

Its not about whats common it's about what you personally like. I happen to like the first design better, but the color needs adjustments. Unless you don't like it when things are too common then go for the second one. It has nice colors.

Hmm, i've never seen too many of the first one. My old guild cape was far over used.
Red background, yellow flames, gold pheonix. I saw like a billion of them daily. It was bad...IDK, I haven't seen many lepurchaun colored capes, so I guess his is a bit original. |

Second one, but it looks like that person already has it...
Most common cape ever: Flames, sword, tattered bottom. |

Neither. I like the first one, but that sword emblem is so overused that it's no longer cool. I don't like the boar head on the second.

I like the second one, but I would get rid of the fleur (little symbol on the bottom) and use a different main symbol.
one of these maybe? it really depends on what you like and what your guild is about. I don't think your cape is going to make a huge difference with your people staying problem though. |

#2.
The first one is already seen everywhere - and it's really not that interesting to begin with. The second is more elegant - but I'd change the color of the emblem for more contrast. |
